Pig Thugs

Pig Thugs.
I've started making bobblehead beads. I know, the call for them is tremendous and I'm just filling a market niche. But seriously, (or not so seriously), the world needs to see pigs as they truly are. I know we think of them as laying around and wallowing in mud, but I'm revealing what they do at night, when farmers are in bed.

Okay, so I'll come clean. I'm making bobblehead beads because I've been asked to do a presentation at our annual International Society of Glass Beadmakers' conference, which we call the Gathering. It's in a few weeks, and I'm excited to be demonstrating one of my beads.

I'll be showing the group how I do an Elvis bobblehead, (also called "nodders"). He's wearing a white jumpsuit and has been obviously hitting the peanut butter and banana sandwiches that he was known for. I'll post a photo later on.

So if anyone is in the Oakland California area on August 9th, please contact me for information about our fabulous bead show and sale that will be going on at the Marriott downtown in Oakland.

Hope to see you there!
Marcy
