Plant Watering Globes

I'm working on my inventory for a local show, and my category is 50% jewelry and 50% other glass.  Needless to say, I contemplated a lot of things to decide what the other 50% would be.

Although it's caused a lot of wake up in the middle of the night times, when my mind is working over time, it still has been lots of fun.  One of my items is the ubiquitous Blown Glass Plant Water Globe. (I think they need a sassier name, personally.  If you have any ideas, please post them!)

Here it is being tested by my friend Amy Sim's plant.  She has reported good results so far.  I have read reviews for others, and have heard that if your plant is in full sun, you might need two.  And if it is in full sun, these colored glass globes would look so pretty popped into their pots.  I'm thinking I might want to display some of my glass gnomes by them as well. I think they always look great in plants...a touch of whimsy never hurts.

Anyhow,  just wanted to show you one of the items I've been making.  My chandeliers will be featured in the next few days too.  I really like them a lot!
